How Dreamer collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our AI creation tools and related services.

1. Who we are

Dreamer (“Dreamer,” “we,” “us”) provides AI-assisted media tools. This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data in connection with our websites, apps, and services (the “Service”).

Contact: legal@dreamer.app. For support issues unrelated to privacy, use support@dreamer.app.

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, email, password hashes or auth tokens, profile details you provide.

Billing data: plan, credit balance, transaction references, limited payment metadata from providers such as Flutterwave (we do not store full card numbers on Dreamer servers when using hosted checkout).

Usage data: feature usage, device/app version, approximate location from IP, log events, diagnostics, and cookie or similar identifiers on the web.

Content data: prompts, scripts, uploads, generation settings, and outputs stored in your library; public posts if you publish to Explore; comments and interactions.

Support data: messages you send to support or legal contacts.

3. How we use data

To provide and operate the Service (accounts, generation, storage, Explore, billing).

To route generation requests to Model Providers necessary to fulfill your requests.

To secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.

To improve reliability, UX, and feature design (including aggregated or de-identified analytics).

To communicate about the Service, security alerts, and—where permitted—product updates. You may opt out of non-essential marketing.

To comply with law and respond to lawful requests.

5. Sharing and Model Providers

Model Providers: To generate Output, Input and related parameters are sent to one or more third-party AI providers under our configuration. Those providers process data under their terms and privacy policies. Do not submit data you are not permitted to share with subprocessors.

Infrastructure and vendors: hosting, analytics, error monitoring, email, and customer support tools bound by contractual obligations where appropriate.

Payment processors: to complete purchases and prevent fraud.

Legal and safety: if required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users and the Service.

Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell your personal data as “sale” is commonly defined under US state privacy laws. We do not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising unless we disclose that and offer required opt-outs.

6. Retention

We retain account and billing records as needed for the Service and legal obligations. Generation history and published content remain until you delete them or your account is closed, subject to backups and legal holds.

You may request deletion of your account; residual copies may persist in backups for a limited period.

7. Security

We implement administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal data (access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring). No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; you use the Service at your own risk regarding residual security risk.

8. International transfers

We and our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or provider mechanisms) for cross-border transfers.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain processing of personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Requests: legal@dreamer.app. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18 (or higher age required locally). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

On the web we use essential cookies for authentication and security, and may use analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through browser settings; disabling some cookies may break the Service.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy and will revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted in-product or by email when appropriate.
